your own icons: https://khbros.app/ultimate/kpt-icon-library/

There is nothing else to install. No Python, no admin rights, no setup wizard.

HOW TO INSTALL - THREE STEPS
------------------------------

STEP 1 Extract this ZIP to a permanent folder.

Right-click the ZIP > "Extract All..." > choose somewhere
sensible, such as your Documents folder.

This matters: the add-in runs FROM this folder, so it has to stay
put. Do not run it from inside the ZIP, and do not leave it in
your Downloads and then clean them out later.

STEP 2 Open the extracted folder and double-click:

             KPT Icon Library.exe

Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" box, because
the file is not signed with a paid certificate.
Click "More info", then "Run anyway".

You should get a message saying it is installed. That is it -
it registers itself and starts running in the background.

STEP 3 Close PowerPoint COMPLETELY, then open it again.

Then: Home tab > "Icon Library".

If the button is not on the Home tab:
         Insert > My Add-ins > Developer Add-ins > KPT Icon Library

That is the whole installation. It also sets itself to start automatically
with Windows, so you only ever do this once.

USING IT
--------

Search Type anything: "meeting", "solar", "handshake", "falcon".
Shape Frame icons in a circle, square, diamond, hexagon or octagon,
or choose "no frame". Pick the frame colour and size in mm.
Insert Click tiles to select, then Insert. Double-click inserts one.

Logos are added at their original resolution and full colour, and are never
recoloured or framed.

UNINSTALLING
------------

Double-click "Uninstall.cmd" in this folder, then delete the folder.
Anything you added yourself is in the "user-icons" sub-folder - copy that
out first if you want to keep it.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
-----------------------

"Sorry, we can't load the add-in. Please make sure you have network
 and/or Internet connectivity."

This message is misleading - it has nothing to do with your internet.
It means PowerPoint could not reach the icon server on this PC.
Almost always: the server is not running.

    Check it in 10 seconds:
Open Edge or Chrome and go to
            http://localhost:3899/taskpane.html

        - If the icon panel appears, the server IS running. Close
PowerPoint completely and reopen it, then click Retry.
        - If the browser says it cannot connect, the server is NOT
running. Go to the folder and double-click
"KPT Icon Library.exe" again, then look for the message it
shows you - it will say what is wrong.

If Windows is blocking the program: right-click
"KPT Icon Library.exe" > Properties > tick "Unblock" at the
bottom > OK, then run it again.

The panel is blank / white
Same cause as above. Use the http://localhost:3899 check.

The "Icon Library" button never appears at all
PowerPoint has to be fully closed - the whole application, not just
    the window - and reopened.
If it still does not appear, your workplace policy may block add-in
sideloading; your IT team would need to allow it.

Infographs tab: inserting a template fails
That feature needs a recent PowerPoint build (Microsoft 365 or 2021).
Icons and logos work on any version.

Still stuck
There is a log file next to the program:
        server.log
Send that, plus a description of what you saw.
